I'm so very sorry to hear about Marty!! He and Gary Schlack were my algebra buds in Mr. Jackson's class!! They got me through. Such good memories of both of them.
Marty was my Book Strap editor and co-star in the CHS senior play. I admired him for his wit and humor and intelligence. Oh my, was he funny. Just a great guy. I will always associate him with Gary Schlact--two brainy yet kind-hearted fellows. I attended his funeral today by way of Zoom. I am so sorry bc about his death. We have lost some greats lately. I wrote his brother that high school was a long time ago, but there are some people you will always remember. Rest in peace, Dr. Kanner.
